We are very sad to report that Hearth Market has closed. They were extremely welcoming to us for last year’s festival; Scarlet, the bar manager, created three custom cocktails for us, and Morgan, the manager, and her successors, have been wonderful to work with. The bar staff was always happy to see us at the monthly singing sessions and they enjoyed the music. Thank you to all of the Hearth staff and to those who attended the sessions. We are looking for another venue, but until then, no in-person chantey sings in Portsmouth. If you are in the area, drop us a line, and we can tell you about the other local events.

The virtual chantey sing is still going strong, though; join us online on the 2nd Saturday of each month, 3–5 pm Eastern US Time. Singers from around the world take turns leading maritime songs while everyone else (on mute) sings along.
