Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival MARITIME SONGWRITING COMPETITION is now open!
To enter, send an e-mail to songwriting@pmffest.org. Include an MP3 or a link to a recording of your composition, along with lyrics and any background information you want to share. The song must be original; list all of the songwriters. Reusing a traditional melody is acceptable, but will not score as high as an original tune. The winning songwriters will be invited to perform their work at the Saturday concert at the festival (26 September).
