2026 Maritime Music Sail

Come enjoy an afternoon of sailing and singing to raise funds for the Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival. Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 12:30-3:00 pm. Surprise a loved one and make a day of it! Tickets are $90 and include all fees.

Two hours at sea… Come sail with us on the beautiful Ardelle, a modern replica of a classic pinky schooner, built by the ship’s master, Harold Burnham. Some of you will have seen the Ardelle from the decks of the Adventure on one of our previous sailing excursions, or sailed on the Ardelle with Michael O’Leary’s Celtic Music Sunset Sails. She is a real joy to be aboard; learn more about the Ardelle here. There will be a performance from the inimitable CLIFF HASLAM, a past PMFF performer. His resonant baritone and northern English accent invite enthusiastic singing along. The performance will be followed by an open chantey sing, so bring your best voice! There may also be an opportunity for some practical chanteying, weather permitting!

Bring some food, if you like, and non-alcoholic beverages of your choice. For licensing reasons, beer and wine is only available for sale by the Ardelle crew. Help us celebrate New England’s maritime heritage while raising money for the 2026 Maritime folk festival! This floating party benefits the Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival, taking place Sept. 26-27, 2026 in and around Portsmouth, NH.
